What the website collects

The website no longer accepts launch-list signups. If you joined before Tagdawn launched, you gave us your email address and we stored it with the time it arrived so we could send the requested launch email. We did not ask for your name, phone number, location, or a device profile.

Cloudflare processes the network information needed to serve and protect the site, including your IP address. If our abuse protection is enabled, the site converts that address into a pseudonymous rate-limit identifier. The identifier expires within 24 hours. We do not add the raw address or Cloudflare country metadata to the launch list or send it to Telegram.

If you email us for support or about privacy, we receive your address and whatever you include in the message. Please do not send information we do not need to answer you.

Why we use it

We use a former launch-list address only to send the launch email you requested. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We used short-lived rate limits to protect the form from abuse based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. If you contact us, we use your message to answer and resolve your request.

We do not use this information for profiling or automated decisions, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it. Neither the website nor the app uses advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs.

App data stays on your iPhone

Tagdawn has no user account and does not sync its app database to Piqlo or iCloud. Alarms, tags, QR credentials, habits, timers, stopwatch data, and wake history stay on your device. Piqlo does not receive your tag identifiers, alarm times, habit entries, or wake history. Camera frames used to scan a backup QR code are not retained, and Face ID or Touch ID data is never available to Tagdawn.

History and deletion

Wake history stays on your iPhone for up to 400 days. Habit history stays until you delete it. You can clear history or reset Tagdawn from the app. Reset turns off Tagdawn alarms and removes local app data. There is no Tagdawn account to delete.

Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare serves and protects the website. Before launch, the launch-list form sent an email address and submission time to a private Piqlo chat on Telegram. It did not send an IP address or country.

Cloudflare and Telegram may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy notices explain their processing locations and safeguards. See Telegram's privacy policy, or email us if you want more information about the protections that apply. We will name any launch-email provider here before using it.

How long we keep it

We keep a former launch-list address until the launch mailing is complete, you ask us to delete it, or the launch list is discontinued, whichever happens first. Rate-limit identifiers expire within 24 hours. We keep support and privacy messages only as long as needed to answer them and handle reasonable follow-up.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to how it is used. You can withdraw launch-list consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email support@tagdawn.app. We may need enough information to confirm that the request concerns you.

You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Children

The former launch list was not directed to children under 16, and we did not knowingly collect their information. A parent or guardian can email us to remove an address submitted by a child.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. If a change materially affects former launch-list data, we will provide notice where required.
