Privacy, in plain language
Tagdawn is a small, independent app. We keep the waitlist deliberately small, use no behavioral tracking or ads, and keep everything the app learns about your mornings on your iPhone.
This is a plain-language draft for launch and not yet legal advice; it will be finalized before release.

What we collect
When you join the waitlist, the only information you provide is your email address. Our private signup notification stores that address with the time it arrived. We don't ask for your name, phone number, location, or a device profile.
Like any website, the request first passes through our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Cloudflare makes network information such as an IP address available to the site. If our optional abuse protection is enabled, the site turns that address into a one-way identifier used only for request counters that expire automatically after no more than 24 hours. The raw address and Cloudflare country metadata are not added to the waitlist or forwarded with your email.
On your iPhone, not our servers
The app is built to run without us. Your alarms, your dismissal rules, and the identifiers of the NFC tags you pair all live locally on your device using SwiftData. If you switch on iCloud sync, that data travels through your own iCloud account, between your devices, not through any Tagdawn server. We never receive your tag IDs, your alarm times, or any record of when you wake up. There's no account to create and no wake data for us to see.
No tracking, no ads, no analytics SDKs
Neither this website nor the app runs third-party advertising or behavioral trackers. No ad networks, no cross-site pixels, no analytics SDKs quietly profiling you in the background. We'd rather ship a smaller, quieter product than one that watches how you use it.
Where your email goes
The waitlist form sends your address through our Cloudflare Worker to a private Telegram chat used by the Tagdawn team. The notification contains your email address and the time it arrived, not your IP address or country. Telegram processes and stores that private message under its own privacy policy. When we choose the provider that will deliver the launch email, we'll name it here before the first message is sent. We keep the waitlist record until the launch mailing is complete or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
We use your address to tell you when Tagdawn launches. We don't sell it, rent it, trade it, or use it for advertising profiles.
Your choices
You stay in control of that one piece of data:
- Opt out using the unsubscribe link in any launch email, or contact us directly before then.
- Ask us to delete your address entirely by emailing hello@tagdawn.app, and we'll remove it from the waitlist and its private Telegram record.
Children
Tagdawn isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us their email, let us know and we'll delete it.
Contact
